Do You Need a Covid Test or Vaccination Proof to See Disney On Ice in California?
The answer is YES.
In accordance with State of California guidelines, Mega Events must required All attendees 2 years of age and older to show proof that they either have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72-hours of the event OR be fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after the final dose). Additionally, all attendees 18 years of age and older must show an identification card with the attendee's name and photograph matching the vaccination card or COVID-19 test.
Tips for Taking Kids to Disney On Ice
We love Disney On Ice so much that I've taken my kids to Disney On Ice multiple times. Since I have experience going to the show, and get asked many questions from readers, I thought I would share some of my best tips and tricks for going to Disney On Ice with my kids.
Is Disney On Ice fun for Kids and Toddlers?
Yes! Disney On Ice it fun for kids of all ages. That includes toddlers and babies.
Since the music and characters are recognizable to many ages, Disney On Ice is even fun for young kids. The lights and costumes are bright and colorful! And the show is full of excitement.
Also, since the venue will be full of kids, you don't have to worry about the young kids interrupting other with noise. There will be plenty of that already. It's the perfect chance to have your kids get used to going to shows!
Prep you kids on what you will and will not be buying
The Disney On Ice venue will be decked out in souvenirs and Disney themed treats. avoid a meltdown with your child by explaining what items you will or will not be purchasing.
Be prepared for for food and souvenirs to be sold at premium prices. If your kids are anything like mine, they will want a treat and one of those light up toys. I usually let them know they will be allowed to pick one thing...depending on my budget, so at least they know what to expect.
It is Cold Inside the Venue at Disney On Ice?
Usually, the venues aren't too cold, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. make sure to bring a jacket for each kid, and tuck some mittens into the pockets just in case. Sometimes I even bring a light blanket to cozy up with during the show.
Let your kids dress up in Disney!
Get decked out in Disney attire. The whole experience is more fun when you get into the theme. Wear your favorite Disney princess dress or costume. Just make sure you are within the venues guidelines.
Get to the Show Early
It's no fun trying to get to your seats after the lights are dimmed and the show has started. Try to get to the venue one hour early so you have time to get through all the securities, covid check points and the food and souvenir lines.

All persons 2 and up will need a ticket and their own seat.
Is Disney On Ice worth it?
Yes!!!! We love it so much and try to go every year. I thing you and your family will too.
